For the translator, just in the event you weren’t being facetious, it’s clear why she deceived him. She did try to tell him the truth at the beginning but he just kept telling her how much he hated his fiancee because he believed rumours and hearsay over evidence. Who would want to tell the truth after that? Sorry I just can’t think this idea that people should always tell the truth is anything but finding a way to blame the victim. After all we quite often hear, often from the same people at that, excuses defending the abuser for not telling the truth because he wanted to ‘protect’ his victim. As for my answer, it would be the same as Maria’s.

Yeah, I kinda agree. She didn’t really want to deceive him but was afraid if the truth was found, this will happen. Though it did happen eventually. The guy is just too dense to figure out who she is. Or was it the author who made him so 🤔? Anyways, not solely her fault for keeping it. He was firmly rejecting her since the beginning, so I don’t blame her.

I feel both of them just cool off a bit to calm down and then talk maybe Yin would understand her because is his fault too by not showing up or not knowing who the woman he supposed to be engage .
