    i dont think it will be that easy cause his mother knows who she is. She is gonna be a target and if cocos aunt wakes up and she will definetly tell old man long for sure. I dint read the novel im just taking a guess.

    I am happy they are together and he told her the truth….BUT….. it almost felt like he was making her beg to him when HE did wrong. It’s mainly because the last few chapters were of him saying how scared he is to lose her and no matter what he has to cover up he won’t let her leave him. He just seemed rather cold and had a matter of fact attitude. She said she loves him but he didn’t say it back. I know he does love her and past chapters prove he does, but I was expecting him to apologize to her when he is sober. I expected her to be hurt about information kept from her, but he would admit to loving her and both would put the past behind them. I wasn’t expecting the outcome for him to be nonchalantly sitting in his chair and basically asking her what she plans to do now that she knows the truth. I just wasn’t happy as a reader that this moment has been so stretched out and built up for so long, just for the final result to be brushed under the rug. Let it be known, I love love love the story. I love the author and designer’s work. I was just expecting more….
